Rabindranath and Romain Rolland - Dec. 1922

Romain Rolland was a French dramatist, novelist, essayist, art historian and mystic who was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature in 1915.
Swish Secretary Emil Roniger wanted to establish a Global (international) publishing concern  named Weltbibliothek [World Library]. Romain Rolland informed this news to Rabindranath. In reply to the information Rabindranath wrote him on 28th Dec,1922, that he had no objection if Gora was translated in French and Germany. He was also agreeable to translating "Letters from Abroad" printed in Modern Review.Rolland also wrote about his meeting with Dilip Kumar Roy. Rabindranath wrote;
" Dilip Roy came to our University festival a few weeks ago. I was delighted to hear from him the account of his meeting with yourself. His acquaintance with you has been an inspiration to him helping him in various ways. I earnestly hope it will be possible for you to pay us a visit  in near future.You will find young men in this country whose hearts you have already won. Rolland had mentioned in short about this letter in his diary.
