After the marriage, Rabindranath and Kshitimohan Sen came to the 1st floor where the newly married couple took their seat. Rabindranath sung many songs.
Rani Mahalanobis wrote;
" On the next day (28th Feb, 1923), we went to Jorasanko to bow down our head before Rabindranath Tagore. We came to learn that he is going to Ahmedabad for two months. He offered a copy of the manuscript of the song-play "Basanta" as a gift to our marriage with a saying that this is t5he best gift of mine to you. Opening the book I found that it is written " / Prasanta, Rani/ tomader milan Basante..."
Rabindranath along with Khsitimohan Sen started for Banaras on 28th Feb 1923.
