Rabindranath in america - 3rd time (contd-11)-1921

The lunch arranged by Tavern Club on 11 Jan was in fine environment. Dr. Woods wrote in a letter about the Club ;
" It is the most interesting club in the city - a group of artists, and writers, and alert and creative mind." After the lunch Rabindranath recited some poetries and the sung a song "Ogo Dakhina Hawya". he also explained in a nutshell the motto of his International University.
In the afternoon went to Wellesley by Train and read his essay "The poet's Religion" in Hutton Memorial Chappel at 8 pm organised by Philosophy department of Wellesley College.
Evening Glove wrote on 12th Jan ;
"The poet came under the auspices of the department of Philosophy, Wellesley College.  Prof. Whiton Calkins was also a writer on psychological and philosophocal subjects, and was  the head of the said dept.. The proceeds went toward the Wellesley semicentennial fund ...While at Wellesley, Dr. Tagore, his son and daghter-in-law were guests of the College and were  entertained at the Wellesley College Guest House, formerly the home of Mr. Mrs. Durant , foundres of the College.

On 12 Jan after lunch Prof Woods fetched everybody to Cambridge.. They visited Hogg Museum there.
In the evening Rabindranath read the " The Folk poets of bengal' in New Theatre Hall of Harvard University.
