Recently a lady Russia named Madam Du Manziarly came to Santiniketan.She knows Sanskrit and Russian and French. She discussed with the Professors and students about the present condition of Russia in Kalabhavan. The discussion was interesting and the listeners could know many things.. Arabindra Mohan Basu, just returned from Germany, came to stay for some time in Santiniketan whi again went to Germany on 6th Jan. Dr. Sisir Kumar Moitra, professor of Calcutta University, stayed for a week in Ashram.
The teachings of stella were published in Santiniketan. She was delivering lectures about different art in succession.She described art from ancient times in Egypt, Greece, Italy, she gradually took to discuss about art of Asia, China, Japan and India. An artist from Czechoslavakia named Jaroslaf hef Kofski came to see Santiniketan.He stayed here for some time to draw paintings of Indian scenery and people. Now he is drawing a picture of Rabindranath.
all these incidents inspired rabindranath about the success of his programme.
