Rabindranath and Pulin Behari Das

Pulin Behari Das (Bengali: পুলীনবিহারী দাশ) (24 January 1877 - 17 August 1949) was an Indian revolutionary and the founder-president of the Dhaka Anushilan Samiti.
The ex-leader of Dacca Anushilan Samity  and the famous revolutionary Pulin Behari Das came to Santiniketan on 18-19th Feb 1922, and met Rabindranath. They took the initiative of publishing a monthly magazine "Sankha" of Anushilan Samity. With this intention Jitendranath Bandyopadhyay and Nalini Guha met Rabindranath and reported it to Pulin Behari Das that Rabindranath wanted to meet him.
At t5his he came to Santiniketan. He wrote,
" Rabindranath read very eagerly the two books , " Krishi Shilpa Banijya" and "Bharat Sevak Sangha". In that book there was some criticism about Gandhi's Non-cooperation movement. Rabindranathy discussed with him about the present political situation of India. He came to know by repeated inquiry . Showing sympathy and support he asked me to show the plan to Elmhirst and assured me all help as far as practicable and agreed to contribute constantly his article to the proposed magazine.
Rabindranath was in favour of cooperation in the programme of    peaceful rehabilitation of Revolutionaries in social developmental work. He contributed the song " Sadhan Ki mor Asan nebe Hattogoler Kandhe"
As per instruction Pulin Behari met Elmhirst at Suri . Pulin Behari took the charge of commanding  the volunteers in the next Paush Mela.
