Rabindranath and Viswa Bharati (contd- 6)-Aug, 1919

In Aug 1919, Rabindranath was passing his time in teaching the students of Viswa Bharati, In the  evening he was analysing poetries written either by him or by any foreign poet and writing articles for Sabuj patra.   
The ideals of Viswa Bharati was attracting students from different parts of India and even outside India.
Thye Vina player and his other accompaniment came to Bolpore in Sept 1919. Dinu babu and Sashtriji were taking lesson Vina from him.During Puja vacation he left Santiniketan.on 25th Sept.
Rabindranath along with Rathindranath, Pratima devi, Kamala Devi, Dinendranath and Sadhucharan went to Shillong . Rthindranath purchased another new car from Russo Engineering Works selling his old one. Banamali Parui and a servant started for Shillong with that car earlier. .This journey was not also a pleasure for Rabindranath which he narrated to Ranu in a letter " Krishnatritiya" on 12 Oct. . Rabindranath took his lodging in the Bunglow of "Brookside" of K.c.De.He wrote Ranu on 25th Oct.
" My reading room, here, does not bear any comparison w2ith my reading room in Santiniketan.This room is a big one - decorated with wooden cot, table, Sofa and easy chair. The windows are having slits through which outside scenery is visible. The deodar trees are standing vertiocally up. Their leaves are swinging in the sky. It seems that they are talking with the sky by nodding their heads .In the garden different colorful flowers are seen to bloom. there are so many flowers of   chrysanthemum, jessamines, and roses- also  some unknown one. "
He wrote to kalisdas Nag on 20th Oct,
" I am passing my time by writing articles in English so I am not enjoying holidays. I got invitation from all the Universities functioning in Australia. There would have been no problem if the Bengali could unfold their mind in Bengali. But I have to move my pen in opposite direction in which I am used to talk.I have to pass peculiarly  by practicing a different type of circus in Puja vacation."
He came to Gauhati on 31st Oct in the afternoon.and stayed there for tree months.On the next evening he was greeted  in Jubilee Park. Satya Bhusan Sen wrote in a nutshell in his article about the lecture he delivered there. At the end he sung the song " Ayi Bhubanamana Mohini". Many people attended this meeting.
He delivered a lecture on the date in the noon at a meeting of Ladies Law College.
He went to Sylet on 3rd November by Assam-Bengal Rail via Lumding with son, daughter-in-law.
