The train has stopped at Nagpur. It is too much hot here. For three hours we have to wait in scorching sun. Somendra is sleeping. He possesses a peculiar calibre. Somendra has passed the whole journey with unstopped eating and timely sleeping that everyone became astonished. He has written in his memoir , "Rabindra-sangame Europe-prabaser Smritikatha." which is filled with so many intimate incidents. A small portion is illustrated below;
" Our farewell moment became garrulous with so many devotees of the poet. The compartment of our train was completely filled with gifts of flowers. We reached Kharagpur very soon. The sadness of the farewell scenery was wiped out with the humorous dialogue of Gurudev and the unending foodstuff supplied by her majesty. Pratima was grambling for a hair pin which she had lost during this journey. at this Gurudev said, " don't be sorry Bauma, rather you thank Soumendra for this trouble-less journey." By this way we reached Bombay station and took shelter in a hotel there.
