Coming back to Los Angeles, Rabindranath faced the audience in Los Angeles at Trinity Auditorium for the second time. Herald wrote on 11 th Oct,
"His program to be given at Trinity Auditorium at 2,15 O'Clock will include many readings from the "The Crescent Moon", and :Gitanjali" and as a special courtesy to the Los Angeles Club women, his group of "Short Stories".
Pearson wrote to Rathindranath on this day,
" The reading this afternoon was simply magnificent and the audience was spellbound, many of the ladies being moved to rears when your father read his short story " The Cabuliwallah". The poems from " The Crescent moon" seem to be the most popular.
After the program a small girl came to Rabindranath sung a French song before him when she was permitted to do so. Your father wished that he could teach her Bengali song."
Today at 8 pm at night Rabindranath delivered a lecture at Pamora College at Claremont. This was learnt from Pond's note.
Having finished his lecture at the west of America, Rabindranath started for Salt Lake city of Utah State of Central America.
