Rabindranath delivered a lecture in appleton of Wisconsin State on 28th Oct, but the subject of the lecture nor any detail report of it was available.
From a Sherman European Hotel Pearson wrote to Rathindranath ; "He is still having trouble trouble with his left ear and is going to consult a Homeopathetic Doctor in Chicago which I hope will prove beneficient." Having returned to Chicago on 29th he again wrote on 31st from Claypool Hotel of Indianapolis; " Yesterday [29th] your father went to consult Homeopathetic doctor about his ear, and he was examined by a Homeopath ear specialst. This man reported to the other doctor and he will see your father again in two days." This problem of his ear was making trouble to Rabindranath for many days and he became seriously ill in 1937 in India. Still Rabindranath attained two programs in Chcago on 29th which was known from a letter written by Pearson ; " We had a very pleasant evening at Dr. Lewish's house on Sunday and met quite a number of Bengali students which was very refreshing. We heard Mischa Elmenin the afternoon but I thought he was rather disappointing." Mischa Elman was a famous violin player and playing violin in different music conference in USA.
