It was learnt from Kalidas Nag's Diary that the drama "Baikunther Khata" was edited by Rabindranath for making it fit for staging it by the members of Bichitra and it was rehearsed for some time under his direction. It was staged on 26th Sept. There were only thge female persons among the audience.This was a singular example organized by Bichitra.This arrangement was made for want of sufficient number of seats or removing the obstacle of attending the females of Hindu family. Even the females of Pathuriaghata and from Gaganendranath's family might not come in a mixed auditorium. Assuming all such reasons this arrangements were done.
The second show was arranged for male audience on 28th Sept. The drama of Rabindranath was staged at
5 pm. Three brothers of Gaganendranath, Mukul de, Asit Kumar Halder,and others 2/3 participated in the drama. Even the Guests were all male members. I was charmed to see the drama.He wrote;
" Gaganda,Aban mama, Samar mama, these three borthers took the roles. Dinu dada and others also took the roles along with Rabidada. For me a separate role of Bakha Panchu was created. The make up of Panchu was such that none of my known person could acknowledge me. The Rabidada played was rare and every one was moved.
Kalidas Nag wrote , " I fetched Ramesh Chandra Majumdar and make him acquainted with Rabindranath.
