Rabindranth greeted in Calcutta

As per family record Rabindranth came to Outram Ghat, Calcutta, in the morning. Since the actual date of his arrival could not be announced, the relatives and friends who could gather the information reached the Outram Ghat in time.Kalidas Nag wrote in his diary on 13th March;
" Today the Poet is returning back home. I, Sukumar and CharuBabu gathered in Outram Ghat.. The poet reurned to the soil of Bengal by a ship of Bengal. We bowed down before him and came back home."
Sita Devi wrote;
" Before his arrival, rumour spread all around that Rabi has come. Everyone began to move here and here.Later it was heard that he had not come, he would be coming soon.He reached Calutta on 13th March.If it was circulated timely then there would have been a huge gathering."
Amrita Bazar Patrika wrote :

" SIR RABINDRANATH TAGORE / RETURN TO CALCUTTA"
Sir Rabindranath Tagore arrived at Outram Ghat at three o'clock on Tuesday afternoon by the S.S.
"Bangala ". A large number of friends relatives and disciples of the poet, including his son, Rathindranath Tagore, Messers Ramananda Chatterji, Prasanta K.Mahalanabis, Manilal Ganguli, Satyendranath Dutta, Dwijendranath Bagchi, Duirendranath Dutta, S.N.Bhattacharya, Dr. Jyoti Sircar, were present at the ghat to receive him. Some ladies of the Hon. Dr. Nilratan Sircar's household were also present. Sir Rabindranath shook hands with the ladies and gentlemen and motored to his residence in Dwarakanath Tagore Street."
Kalidas Nag;
" We arrived today inthe evening at the call of the Poet -- we had songs, dialogues -- we had talks with the poet about Sahitya Parishad and Bangiya Chatrabrinda. Rabindranath was nominated as Vice-President of the session of Bangiya Sahitya Parishad ."
Sita Devi wrote ;
" On the occasion of the arrival of Rabindranath we had a get together at Bichitra-Bhavan on 14th March.Many songs were sung. At first the females started singing and then Rabindranath sung two songs. There was no fixed program but we had some gossips.There were arrangements of good items of our dinner. The guests enjoyed much. Brajendralal Sil was also present. After two or three days Rabindranath went to Shantiniketan."    
Before going to Shantiniketan Rabindranath was greeted another day in Dum Dum organised by the ex-students of Shantiniketan.. The 80yrs old Editor of Amrita bazar Patrika, Matilal Ghosh, wrote a letter to Rabindranath on on 16th March ;
" My Dear Sir, Rabi Babu / ...My heart yearns to  meet and ebrace you. the only time when I go out is between 6.30 P.M. and 8 P.M.when and where shall I come." Rabindranth went to Shantiniketan and could meet him.
