Santiniketan (contd-30)

On 14th April,1906, Rabindranath was in Santiniketan. In the morning of 1st Baisakh he went to Mandir Prangan with the teachers and the  students and did his prayer there. But he didnot read a written essay there. At least that was not mentioned in Tattwabodhini or Bangadarshan.
After his resignation in Jan 1905, Mohit Chandra joined City College.On coming back to Santiniketan Rabindranath came to learn from a letter that Mohit Chandra wanted to come to Santiniketan with his wife to stay for some time.Rabindranath too was eager to get a company like him and invited him cordially on 6 May and wrote in a letter. In reply he informed that when this was written in black and white then he would try to maintain it. Probably Mohit Chandra had come which was known from a letter written to Manoranjan Bandyopadhyay that they were passing a very good time in discussing several things.
Brahmacharyasram was running economic stringency since its birth. During the life time of Devendranath the school received his generous help regarding construction of buildings and for other capital expenses, but after his death that process was stopped. Rabindranath had to sell his house at Puri and landed property to meet up the expenses. Rabindranath constructed a house for his own use "Dehali' at Santiniketan. He repaid the loan from this fund obtained by selling his own property.

Last year , on 2nd March 1905, A Japani's  interpreter named Kusumato San  joined his work,
this year Je Sano or Sano San, another Japani Carate teacher joined the school. Rathindranath and Santosh began to take lesson from him about Carate.
