Rabindranath's Picture Exhibition (3rd Time) in Berlin - 16 July 1930

An exhibition of Rabindranath's Picture was arranged in Berlin on 16th July !930 at Gallary of Kasperi.A German lady Dr. (miss)Selig took the trouble of arranging this exhibition. She was a learned lady and had been to Santiniketan a few days back. The poet wrote that in such cases he always got some help from some ladies.
From Berlin Rabindranath came to Munich. He then came to a village at the Middle of Europe to see a passion play of the last days of Jesus Christ. This ceremony was being held here since 1643. People round the globe comes here to see this passion play , though the medium of language was German.
Amiya Chandra always accompanied Rabindranath in the tour to Germany. He mentioned in a letter that they get the honour of a king because he was with Rabindranath. It seemed to Amiya Chakrabarty that the people here liked Rabindranath much more than any other country. But that was for few days. Within a year or two publication and selling of Rabindranath's writings were prohibited in Germany by Hitler because Rabindranath was a person of  ideal in nature, peace loving and believer of internationalism. According to Hitler Rabindranath's book was not readable by Natsies.
Upto August 6, Rabindranath visited Frankfurt, Marburg, and Korlenthj.
He came to Denmark on Aug 7, 1930.
