Rabindranath in Sweeden - 9 Aug 1930

He stayed in Geneva for one month. he remained a guest of English lady named Miss Story in Geneva.  She came to Santiniketan while she hapened to come to India. The dismissed two foreign Professors, Dr. Collince and Bagdanav on the  basis of her opinion. There is a big office of League of United Nations. The poet had no faith in this organisation . According to him ; " it is a league of robbers."
It was decided that Rabindranath would go to Russia. Once in 1926 he tried to go there  but he could not go due to some problems.
He started for Moscow on 11 Sept 1930.
